The Nike+ SportWatch GPS, unveiled with TomTom at CES in January 2011, tracks pace and distance with a built-in TomTom SiRFstarIV GPS receiver and uploads runs to the Nike+ website through a USB connector built into the wristband itself rather than a separate dock. It paired with a Nike+ shoe sensor for treadmill and indoor tracking, and Nike shut down back-end support for the device in 2018 as it moved runners to phone-based tracking. (DC Rainmaker)
