The Panerai Luminor 1950 8 Days Chrono Monopulsante GMT (reference PAM00275) is a hand-wound complication in a 44 mm steel case, carrying the Luminor bridge-lever crown guard and water resistant to 100 metres. Its P.2004/1 calibre combines three things rarely found together: an eight-day (192-hour) power reserve drawn from three stacked barrels, a column-wheel monopulsante chronograph whose start, stop and reset all run through a single pusher, and a GMT second time zone with a day/night indicator. A linear power-reserve scale at 6 o'clock reads from zero to eight days, the sandwich dial glows through perforated numerals, and the chronograph seconds sweep from the centre. (La Cote des Montres)
