The Panerai Radiomir Quaranta reference PAM01026 shrinks Panerai's wire-lugged Radiomir case, first designed for the Italian Navy in 1936, to a 40 mm ("quaranta" is Italian for forty) cushion case in Goldtech, Panerai's proprietary copper-and-platinum gold alloy chosen to resist oxidation.
