The Patek Philippe 1518 was introduced in 1941 as the first serially produced perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch and made until 1954. Its roughly 35 mm case houses the manual caliber 13-130 Q, with moon phases. (Patek Philippe Museum) Roughly 281 were made, mostly in yellow gold, with four known in steel. One steel example sold for about $11 million in 2016. (Luxury Bazaar) Phillips records its later $17.6 million result in November 2025. (Phillips)
Watchfinder reports that Stanley Johnston names reference 1518 in The Gentlemen; the obscured watch does not authenticate the prop. (Watchfinder)
