The Red Monkey Armada GT is a watch built by Red Monkey Designs, the Los Angeles workshop whose hand-made leather guitar straps, belts and cuffs are its main trade. The watch head is a 44 mm metal case, 10 mm thick, running a Japanese quartz movement behind a glass crystal with a black dial and day and date apertures, rated to 30 m. What distinguishes it is the band: a 2-1/4-inch leather cuff, cut and finished by hand in the United States, which turns a conventional watch into something closer to a bracer.
