The Resco BlackFrog Gen2 is a Swiss automatic dive watch from Resco Instruments, the veteran-run American maker founded by retired Navy SEAL Rob Smith, with assembly and testing done in the United States. Offered in 42 mm and 45 mm sizes, its 316L stainless-steel case wears a black DLC finish, a screw-down crown and a flat sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating, and is rated to 300 metres. Inside runs a Sellita SW200 self-winding movement, with a Ronda quartz option also offered. The matte dial keeps C3 Super-LumiNova to the hands for a deliberately dark, low-glow look. Descended from the brand's original BlackFrog, it is a purpose-built military-style diver rather than a dress piece. (Resco Instruments)
