The RM 030 arrived in 2011 as Richard Mille's first full-sized, non-limited model at a relatively attainable price point within the brand's range. (Richard Mille) Its skeletonized calibre RMAR1 (later RMAR2) displays hours, minutes, seconds, and date around a declutchable winding rotor: an on/off indicator at 12 o'clock shows whether the rotor is actively winding, and a torque-sensing clutch automatically disengages it once the 55-hour power reserve is reached, re-engaging only after the reserve drops to around 40 hours to reduce unnecessary wear. The 42 x 50 mm tonneau case was offered in titanium, carbon, ceramic, and 18-karat red or white gold before Richard Mille superseded the line with the RM 30-01.
