The Richard Mille RM 67-01 is the "Extra Flat" of the line, the model that took the brand's tonneau case and thinned it to 7.75 mm so it slides under a cuff, closer to a dress watch than the wristputer bulk Richard Mille is known for. The whole watch is built to shed weight: a grade-5 titanium case and baseplate, a fully skeletonised automatic calibre CRMA6 just 3.6 mm thick with a 50-hour reserve, and an openworked dial that shows the movement's architecture rather than hiding it. It reads as new-money quiet flash, a low-key silhouette on a watch that still costs six figures and announces the brand instantly to anyone who knows, which is why it lands on a wrist in Succession.
