The Richard Mille RM 72-01 introduced the manufacture's first fully in-house chronograph caliber, the CRMC1, whose patented flyback mechanism splits the torque driving the chronograph counters away from the going train to protect everyday timekeeping accuracy. Its tripartite tonneau case, offered in grade 5 titanium, rose gold, or ceramic, is held together by 20 titanium spline screws and rated to 30 metres. (Richard Mille)
