The Ritmo Mundo Quantum 2 1101/4 RED is a 50 mm quartz chronograph built from two materials rather than machined from one: a steel case with a solid block of aluminium bolted down its flank, anodised metallic red here, around a five-layer dial with three registers (Ritmo Mundo). It runs the Swiss Ronda 3540.D, a startech-line caliber timing to a tenth of a second (RONDA). The Quantum is what Ritmo Mundo relaunched itself around, 21 deliberately polarising versions at once in 2014; the Quantum II is the restrained one, keeping the asymmetric case under a conventional sports-chronograph dial (aBlogtoWatch). The red flank is the point of the RED suffix, and why the watch reads at all in F9 (2021), on Ludacris's Tej Parker.
