The Seiko Astron SSH097 is a GPS Solar limited edition Seiko created with Kojima Productions, inspired by Ludens, the studio's mascot from Death Stranding. The dial's interwoven texture echoes Ludens's carbon face mask, gold accents mirror his suit's metal parts, and the studio's "FROM SAPIENS TO LUDENS" motto is engraved on the bezel edge; the logo appears at nine o'clock and on the case back. Caliber 5X53 gives GPS-corrected dual-time display with automatic daylight-saving adjustment. Limited to 1,000 pieces, it released in June 2021 with a box holding a message card from Hideo Kojima. Kojima Productions designs its watches as objects belonging to the game's world rather than souvenirs bearing its logo; no character is shown wearing this watch in Death Stranding itself.
