The Speake-Marin Piccadilly is the case that launched English watchmaker Peter Speake-Marin's independent brand in 2002, named for the London street and immediately recognizable for the wing-shaped "Foundation" crown guard sitting proud of the case at 3 o'clock, a lug design carried over from Speake-Marin's early pocket-watch and single-piece movements. Cases were offered across steel and precious metals, in sizes from roughly 38 to 42 mm, generally with a round white or silvered dial, Roman or Arabic numerals, and a small seconds sub-dial; Pierce Brosnan served for several years as a Speake-Marin brand ambassador.
