An unidentified sports watch worn by Ricardo Chavira as Miguel Hernandez in Welcome to the Family (2013). "Sports watch" names a job rather than a maker: legibility, water resistance and a strap that survives sweat, which is why it is at once the largest class of watch on screen and the least identifiable. The surviving evidence is NBC publicity photography rather than frames from the broadcast episodes, and it shows a black resin case, round rather than the usual digital rectangle, with a grey inner bezel ring, an integrated black resin strap and a rectangular liquid-crystal readout lit an even green: the flat, uniform glow of an electroluminescent panel. No dial or case printing is legible, and no brand, model or module is established.
