The TAG Heuer 2000 Exclusive WN5141 sat at the very top of the 2000 Exclusive line TAG Heuer launched in 1999 as its push into genuine luxury: a 38 mm case and bracelet in solid 18k yellow gold, a bezel set with baguette diamonds and a blue sapphire at 12 o'clock, baguette-diamond hour markers, a sapphire cabochon on the crown, and an ETA 2824-2-based automatic keeping the line's 200 m water resistance. Retail approached US$50,000 (Patek Philippe territory from a brand known for steel sports quartz), and the segment was later abandoned, leaving the WN5141 a rarity.
