The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Calibre S Regatta is a sailing chronograph built around the Calibre S, an electro-mechanical movement TAG Heuer first showed in 2005 and put into the Aquaracer in 2007. Around 230 mechanical components and five bi-directional micro-motors drive the display, so a press of the crown cycles the 41 mm steel watch between Time, Chrono and Regatta modes and the central hands take on a new job in each. In Regatta mode the central hand runs counter-clockwise down a −10 to −1 minute countdown scale, then reverses and starts the chronograph by itself the moment the countdown expires. Two semi-circular counters at 4:30 and 7:30 carry the rest, behind a dive bezel and 300 m of water resistance. (Watch Wiki, Caliber Corner)
