The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph is the quartz racing chronograph within a collection that began in 1986, when the newly renamed company put out brightly coloured quartz watches in steel and fibreglass cases named for its motorsport involvement. Reference CAZ1010 is a far later, all-steel reading of the idea: a 43 mm fine-brushed steel case under a sapphire crystal, with a fixed black PVD steel bezel carrying a tachymeter scale, Super-LumiNova on the hands and applied markers, and 200 m of water resistance. The quartz movement gives hours, minutes and seconds with a date, plus a chronograph reading to a tenth of a second with a thirty-minute counter. (TAG Heuer, TAG Heuer Magazine)
