The TAG Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 17 RS2 is reference CAV518B, the chronograph in which the line's Rotating System discs stand in for conventional chronograph registers. The case is PVD-coated titanium, 43 mm across and around 16 mm thick, with a fixed bezel, a sapphire crystal and 100 m of water resistance over a black dial picked out in red. Driving it is the Calibre 17, TAG Heuer's reworking of the modular ETA 2894-2: an automatic beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with roughly 42 hours of reserve, arranged as a three-register chronograph with a twelve-hour counter and a date at six o'clock. It was sold on rubber and on alligator, and has since been discontinued. (WatchMaxx, Millenary Watches)
