The Timex Ironman Triathlon 8 Lap, reference T5H941, sits at the entry end of the Ironman range, which Timex has built since 1986 around a lap-memory stopwatch and, since 1992, the Indiglo electroluminescent dial. The round case is black resin on a matching resin strap with a buckle, glazed in plastic and rated to 100 m. Its quartz digital module stores eight laps on the chronograph, adds a countdown timer and a full calendar showing day, date and month, switches between 12- and 24-hour time, and lights the entire display on a button press.
