The Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar is the solar-powered generation of the touch-sensitive multifunction line Tissot began in 1999, when the first T-Touch made the sapphire crystal itself the control surface for a compass, altimeter and barometer. Reference T091.420.44.051.00 sets a 45 mm antimagnetic titanium case with black PVD coating, 13 mm thick and water-resistant to 100 m, around an ETA E84.301 quartz movement that charges an accumulator from light rather than taking a disposable battery. Its tactile antireflective sapphire calls up an altimeter, compass, weather indicator, regatta and countdown timers, a split-and-lap chronograph logbook, two alarms, a second time zone and a perpetual calendar.
