The Traser Type 6 is the watch the brand was founded on. After mb-microtec developed the first self-illuminating wristwatch in 1989, it built the P6500 Type 6 to the US Army's MIL-W-46374F specification: a light, robust case, a quartz movement, a black dial with a 24-hour scale and trigalight tritium tubes on the hands, hour markers and bezel. Traser calls it "The Original" and revived it in 2026 as the P65 Tactical Mission; the later P6600 Type 6 MIL-G carries the name on. The pictured piece is one a dealer lent for filming in 2007.
