The Victorinox Maverick Black Edition, reference 241798, debuted in 2018, when Victorinox's watch workbook marked the exact reference as new. (Victorinox 2018 workbook) It is the blacked-out version of the large Maverick, a diving-styled quartz watch from the Swiss Army knife maker's watch division. Its stainless steel case measures 43 mm across and 11 mm high on a 22 mm lug width, weighs 164 g, and carries a black finish across case, bezel, dial and bracelet. A unidirectional rotating bezel runs a 60-minute count-up scale, a screw-in caseback and crown protection support 100 m of water resistance, and Super-LumiNova on the hands handles night reading.
