Wenger Field Classic Chrono is reference 72955W.XL, the extra-large chronograph in Wenger's Field Classic line. The brushed stainless steel case measures 42 mm and closes with a screw-on back, water resistant to 100 metres, and a sapphire-coated crystal covers a black dial with luminous hands, numerals and markers. A Swiss quartz chronograph movement drives a 30-minute counter, with a date display alongside. It came on a lined genuine leather strap fitted with a wrist protector across 20 mm lugs, under a three-year limited warranty. Wenger, a Swiss Army knife maker that merged with Victorinox in 2005, built its watch line on exactly this kind of plain military legibility. (Wenger)
