The Zenith Chronomaster Open 03.2040.4061/21.M2040 is the black-dial steel-bracelet execution of the Chronomaster El Primero Open: a 42 mm steel case whose dial, black down to its subdials, is cut away over the escapement of the El Primero 4061, the high-beat automatic chronograph calibre Zenith launched in 1969, on view again through a display back, with a 50-hour reserve and 100 m water resistance. Housekihiroba, the Tokyo dealer that lent one for filming, records its piece as sold new in November 2019. (Housekihiroba)
