The Casio A168W-1 is the metal-bracelet member of Casio's basic digital range, a chrome-plated resin case on a stainless steel bracelet with an adjustable clasp. The small LCD carries hour, minute, second, date and day alongside a 1/100-second stopwatch, a daily alarm, an hourly time signal, and an auto-calendar. Its blue-green electroluminescent backlight lights the entire display and is the main functional advance over the older A158 it derives from; Casio quotes ±30 seconds a month and roughly seven years from a CR2016, and rates the watch as water resistant without naming a depth. Sold for well under $20 and marketed by Casio under a "Vintage" label, it is the default cheap steel-bracelet digital. (Casio, The Slender Wrist)
