The Casio G-Shock G-7900 is the digital G-Shock introduced in 2009 in the G-Rescue line, recognisable by its four exposed bezel screws and outsized buttons. The 52.4 × 50 × 17.7 mm resin case is water resistant to 200 metres and rated to keep working down to −20 °C, and the display carries a moon phase graph and a tide graph alongside two independent 1/100-second stopwatches, a countdown timer, world time for 29 zones and 48 cities, and five multi-function alarms. A flash alert blinks the blue-green electroluminescent backlight in time with the buzzer. It runs roughly two years on a CR2025 cell. The tide and moon data and the cold rating aimed it at marine and outdoor use. (Casio, G-Central)
