The ww.tc ("world wide time control") is Girard-Perregaux's world-timer line, revived in 2000: a second crown at 9 o'clock turns a 24-city ring against a 24-hour day-night scale so every time zone reads simultaneously. The chronograph version pairs that display with the automatic calibre GP033C0 in a 43 mm case as reference 49800, revised in 2006 as reference 49805 with a slimmer 9 o'clock crown, reworked lugs and pushers, and a wider strap, then thickened slightly as the 49815 in 2011.
