Heuer Camaro
The Heuer Camaro is a hand-wound chronograph introduced in 1968, named by Jack Heuer after the American muscle car in a bid to win over the United States market. It is built around a 37 mm cushion-shaped case, offered in stainless steel, gold-plate or solid gold, its bezel finished with radial brushing and flanked by a signed crown and twin pump pushers. Hand-wound Valjoux movements power it in two- and three-register form, among them the 7730 with a thirty-minute counter and running seconds. Produced only until about 1972 and never fitted with an automatic caliber, it matters today as one of the most collectable vintage Heuer chronographs. (Analog:Shift)
