A washed-up private security agent has to escort a valuable Chinese antique out of Shanghai but is ambushed en route. Directed by Charles Martin and released in 2017, the British-Chinese co-production (titled The Shanghai Job outside North America) follows Danny Stratton, a security operative still living down a botched job, as the ambush opens onto a wider conspiracy and puts his girlfriend in the line of fire. Orlando Bloom plays Stratton, with Simon Yam, Hannah Quinlivan, Lynn Hung and Leo Wu; Shanghai studio Bliss Media financed it. (Wikipedia; IMDb)
