The IWC Aquatimer dive-watch line began in 1967 with reference 812 AD. Its caliber 8541 automatic movement sat in a case rated to 200 metres, with an internal timing bezel operated by a second crown. (IWC) The 2014 generation introduced SafeDive: an external bezel drives the internal timing ring, which adjusts only when the outer bezel turns anticlockwise.
