Jude Law is an English actor who moved from British theatre into film and won a BAFTA for The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999). He has worked steadily since the late 1990s in prestige dramas including A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Road to Perdition, Cold Mountain, and Closer, and took franchise roles as Dr. Watson in the Sherlock Holmes films and a young Dumbledore in Fantastic Beasts. (Wikipedia)
