The calendar mechanism tracks the irregular length of the months and the leap year on its own, so a correctly set watch needs no date adjustment until 2100, and Jaeger-LeCoultre reduces its whole correction to a single pusher in the case band rather than the row of recessed buttons a perpetual usually hides.
