The Piaget 9131 C4 is a yellow-gold 18-karat dress watch with a squared black dial and gold-applied Roman numeral hour indices, its 23 mm case and integrated bracelet finished throughout in Piaget's Clous de Paris hobnail texture; the 7.25-inch bracelet is built from nine rows of 4×6-square brick links closed by a locking clasp. Produced from the 1960s into the 1980s, it is powered by Piaget's 18-jewel manual-winding caliber 9P. (BAMF Style) Comedian Bob Newhart owned and wore this exact reference himself, evidently having received an identical Piaget with a brown gradating tiger's-eye dial as a 42nd birthday gift in 1971, per the gift's own engraved inscription; the tiger's-eye example was auctioned from his estate in October 2025.
