The Tissot Heritage 150 Automatic Chronograph is the limited edition Tissot issued in 2003 to mark 150 years since the firm's founding in 1853, built in a run of 8,888 pieces. A 39.5 mm stainless steel case just under 12 mm thick carries a plexiglass crystal over a silver dial with feuille hands, a tachymeter scale and a date window, driven by a chronometer-certified ETA 2894-2 automatic chronograph with 37 jewels and a 42-hour reserve. An exhibition back shows a gilt rotor engraved 1853–2003, and water resistance is a modest 30 m. The plexiglass and restrained diameter were chosen to evoke Tissot's mid-century chronographs rather than its contemporaries. (WatchBase, KeepTheTime)
