Jean Dujardin is a French actor and comedian who began in stand-up before gaining fame in the TV series Un gars, une fille and comedies such as Brice de Nice and the OSS 117 films. His performance as George Valentin in the silent film The Artist won him the Academy Award for Best Actor, the first for a French actor. (Wikipedia)
