Andrew Lincoln (born 1973) is an English actor who came up through British television in This Life and Teachers and played the cue-card suitor in Love Actually before his defining role: sheriff's deputy Rick Grimes, the moral center of AMC's The Walking Dead for nine seasons (2010–2018), a part he later reprised in the spinoff The Ones Who Live.
