David Morse (born October 11, 1953) is an American actor who became widely known as Dr. Jack "Boomer" Morrison on NBC's St. Elsewhere (1982-1988), and has since appeared in The Green Mile, The Rock, 12 Monkeys, and The Hurt Locker, plus an Emmy-nominated recurring role as Detective Michael Tritter on House.
