Elijah Wood (born 1981) is an American actor and producer, a prominent child actor of the 1990s who became Frodo Baggins in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy and later a producer of genre films through his company SpectreVision; on television he played Todd Brotzman, the reluctant assistant to Samuel Barnett's detective, across both seasons of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
