George Lazenby is an Australian former car salesman and model who played James Bond exactly once, in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), winning the role with no feature acting experience after outfitting himself as Bond: Connery's tailor, Connery's barber, and a newly bought Rolex Submariner. He declined to return, worked in Hong Kong action films and television, and remains a fixture of Bond and watch-collecting lore. (Wikipedia)
