Gerardo Taracena (1970–2026) was a Mexican actor trained at UNAM's dramatic-arts school who worked across more than thirty stage productions before establishing a screen career in Man on Fire (2004), The Violin (2005), and Mel Gibson's Apocalypto (2006).
