Ikko Furuya (古谷一行, 2 January 1944 – 23 August 2022) was a Japanese actor born in Taito, Tokyo, raised in Toshima, and trained at the Haiyuza acting school. He is best known for playing detective Kosuke Kindaichi across the long-running Kindaichi Kosuke television series beginning in 1977, a role he returned to for decades. He plays bank president Masahiko Kyogoku in Nozaki Shuhei, Auditor of Bank. (Wikipedia)
