Isao Hashizume (橋爪功) is a Japanese actor born 17 September 1941 in Osaka, active on screen since 1961 after training with the Bungakuza theater company. A prolific supporting and lead player across six decades, his credits include Hirokazu Kore-eda's I Wish and the What a Wonderful Family! trilogy. He plays former prime minister Kyoichi Samejima in BG: Personal Bodyguard. (Wikipedia)
