Meghan Markle (born 4 August 1981) is an American actress, media personality and, since 2018, a member of the British royal family as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. Before her marriage to Prince Harry, she built her acting career on USA Network's Suits, playing paralegal, and later lawyer, Rachel Zane for seven seasons from 2011 to 2018, a role that ran alongside earlier supporting film and television credits.
