Sho Sakurai is a Japanese singer, actor, and news anchor who joined Johnny & Associates in 1995 and debuted seven years later as a member of the boy band Arashi, which was active until May 2026. Alongside his music career he has anchored the NTV newscast News Zero since 2006 and taken leading dramatic roles, including the young politician Ichiro Seike at the center of TBS's political suspense drama Laughing Matryoshka.
