Wakana Matsumoto is a Japanese actress, born 25 February 1984 in Tottori Prefecture, who began her career after a 2007 Tokyo audition and first drew notice as Airi Nogami in the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Den-O (2007). She won best supporting actress at the 39th Yokohama Film Festival for Gukoroku: Traces of Sin (2017) and the Newcomer of the Year prize at the 49th Elan d'or Awards (2025), and took her first lead role for NHK as investigative reporter Kikuno Hiba in Taiketsu (2026).
