The Cartier Baignoire is Cartier's oval, bathtub-shaped dress watch. The appearances here identify gold examples without establishing a model reference. (Wind Vintage)
On-screen identification
Eight appearances spanning five decades credit a gold Cartier Baignoire, the maker's oval "bathtub"-shaped dress watch, without naming a specific reference: Romy Schneider's Julie Wormser in Les innocents aux mains sales (1975), Sylvia Kristel's character in Alice or the Last Escapade (1977), Michèle Morgan's character in Cat and Mouse (1975), Shin Min-a's Kang Seon-yeong in the 2019 Korean series Chief of Staff, Rio Sanada, played by Yuriko Yoshitaka, in the 2021 Japanese series Dearest, Catherine Deneuve as Bernadette Chirac in Bernadette (2023), Kerry Washington's Vera Draven in Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (2025), and Wakana Matsumoto's Itsuki Saionji in an office scene in Ms. Saionji Doesn't Do Housework. The catalog's specific-reference Baignoire page covers a 2024 rose-gold reissue and postdates the earlier appearances here, while the later sources also omit references, so these rows link the family instead.
