Yves Montand (1921-1991) was an Italian-born French singer and actor who began as a music-hall performer under Édith Piaf's mentorship and became a major screen presence in The Wages of Fear, Costa-Gavras's Z and État de siège, and, late in life, as César in Claude Berri's Jean de Florette and Manon des Sources. He appeared for Philippe Labro in Le hasard et la violence. (Wikipedia)
