Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (機動戦士ガンダム鉄血のオルフェンズ) is a Sunrise television anime, the fourteenth mainline entry in the Gundam franchise, directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai and written by Mari Okada and broadcast on MBS and the JNN network from October 4, 2015 to March 27, 2016, with a second season from October 2, 2016 to April 2, 2017. On a Mars run by Earth, the child soldiers of Tekkadan, led by Orga Itsuka and the Gundam Barbatos pilot Mikazuki Augus, fight for their independence against Gjallarhorn, the military organization whose crest and navy uniforms mark the other side of the war.
