Shaft's fourth Puella Magi Madoka Magica film, and the direct sequel to 2013's -Rebellion-, released in Japan on August 28, 2026, after several delays from an originally announced 2024 window. Akiyuki Shinbo again serves as chief director, with Yukihiro Miyamoto directing and Gen Urobuchi returning to write the script, continuing the story of Homura Akemi's god-defying "Devil Homura" and her fabricated world built to hold onto Madoka Kaname.
