Rurouni Kenshin is Liden Films' television adaptation of Nobuhiro Watsuki's manga, first broadcast in 2023. Directed in its first season by Hideyo Yamamoto, it retells the story of Kenshin Himura, a former assassin seeking a life without killing in Meiji-era Japan.
