The Luxury Watches in Dr. Stone: Science Future

From IMWDb

Anime watches
A background montage includes Nautilus and Chanel Boy·Friend designs. The less obvious Harry Winston becomes easier to place when you look beside the crown.

Rows of differently shaped watches surround a blond character against a gold background.

The montage repeats several designs. The upper row includes recognizable Nautilus, Boy·Friend and MR-G forms.

The watches in Dr. Stone: Science Future float in neat rows against a gold background. Several repeat across the two views. Readable wordmarks are scarce. Case outlines, straps and calendar windows carry the more useful clues.

The drawings support design comparisons, with exact references, case materials and movements unresolved. Gold coloring alone cannot distinguish a precious-metal watch from a plated one.

Cases and straps do much of the work

The Patek Philippe Nautilus comparison rests on a combination of features: a broad, rounded bezel, short side projections and a horizontally striped dial that continues into a metal bracelet. The drawing retains enough of that arrangement to distinguish it from the adjacent round watches. It does not resolve which Nautilus reference supplied the design.

The Chanel Boy·Friend takes a different route. Its rectangular case appears with a broad quilted strap, a much more distinctive combination than a rectangle alone. In the second view, the Hermès Heure H comparison is even more direct: the case itself forms an H, with the strap passing between its uprights. Those shapes are more informative than trying to read the tiny dial furniture.

A Nautilus has a broad rounded bezel, side projections and a striped dark dial on a metal bracelet.

Representative Nautilus: the bezel, side projections and striped dial explain the comparison; this photograph does not fix the animated reference.

A rectangular Chanel Boy·Friend has a pale dial and a black quilted strap.

Representative Boy·Friend: the rectangular case and quilted strap are the useful combination.

An H-shaped Hermès case surrounds a dark rectangular dial and joins a metal bracelet.

A bracelet version of the Heure H illustrates the H-shaped case. The animated watch has a strap.

The collector discussion of the frames identifies all three. Its proposed identification of a fourth watch changed during the discussion.

The small detail beside the crown

The dark watch in the upper left of the second view was initially identified in that discussion as a Jaquet Droz Grande Date. Another contributor proposed the Harry Winston Midnight Big Date, and the original spotter accepted the correction after noticing the case detail beside the crown.

The second watch montage includes a dark round watch with an upper time display and a lower date window at top left.

The Harry Winston comparison concerns the upper-left watch; its case flank helps distinguish it from the first proposed candidate.

The drawing has an upper time display and a small date opening below it, features that explain the initial confusion. The extra projections on the crown side provide another point of comparison. Hodinkee’s photographed examination of the Midnight collection shows the physical Big Date with its lower date aperture and shaped case flank. The case flank favors Harry Winston over the proposed Jaquet Droz.

A rose-gold-colored Harry Winston Midnight Big Date has an upper time display, lower date aperture and three projections beside the crown.

A physical Midnight Big Date shows the crown-side projections and lower date aperture. This different colorway is a design comparison, not an exact match to the drawing.

The simplified dial and tiny date window still leave the reference unresolved. The product photograph helps explain the Harry Winston comparison without making its finer details visible in the drawing.
